Raising funds and awareness for those in need

The Trust raises money to fund cerebral palsy equipment in several ways.
We take part in sponsored charity walks and runs. For example, a member of our team, Danny Kennerley, recently completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon and raised an impressive £1,500 for The Bobath Centre, a cerebral palsy care centre that is one of the many UK organisations we help and support by buying and donating equipment to children and adults in their care.
Other fundraising activities include an annual charity golf day, office bake offs, raffles, and coffee mornings and direct donations from Videx Security, security companies and individuals.
Each and every single donation made provides invaluable equipment that improves the quality of life for adults and children living with cerebral palsy. With your help, we can make a difference to so many lives, starting from birth.
"The support that The Videx Charitable Trust provides is invaluable. The money raised has enabled us to treat hundreds of children and buy equipment that's had a positive impact on so many lives.”
Kevin Gillespie, Fundraising Manager at The Bobath Centre
Golf Day raised over £11,000 for cerebral palsy
This year’s charity golf day, which marks its 20th birthday, brought together over 70 golfers who enjoyed brunch followed by a single player and putting competition. The event ended with dinner, an award ceremony, a blind auction and raffle. £11,357 was raised, a phenomenal amount that will buy equipment for those in need.
“Our mission is to raise money that can be used to buy equipment for those with cerebral palsy, to help them participate in everyday life as best they can”
John Rickard, Videx Charitable Trust
